Me and Anderson will be manning the BMWMOCM booth (again) this year.
Feel free to stop by and say "Hi"--not avert eye contact and stare at the gound, like most of ye feckers tend to do.

Are you going to be playing that banjo thing of yours?

Also, we should plan a lunch at the Mexican Restaurant. Rancho Grande or whatever it's called, because it's quite good.

1. What better way to draw folks to the BMWMOCM booth then four-stringed acoustical instruments?

2. I like that idear quite a lot, actually. It will be difficult for both of us to get away for an hour or so, but not impossible.

Plucking your twanger publicly may not draw the crowds you anticipate.

Or then again, you may be over run by groupies.

Hopefully the weather holds a bit. Moon is a great dealer, I'd hate their event to be snowed or rained out. Previous years though a cruddy day certainly hasn't put anyone off. But snow would suck ass. Forecast has changed from "freezing shit" to "Meh, wet" though, so hopefully all is well.

I wanted to this morning but just to cold yet. I have been seeing plenty of bikes riding around in the evenings now!

Have a nice ride home!

The temperature reading device told me it was 18 degrees this morning.

Granted I would never take the DRZ up I-35 for a 40+ mile commute ever, but it was still too cold for me to want to even think about riding a motorcycle.

Cold

I ride from Somerset to Minneapolis 3 days a week and get free parking with the bike. I got lazy over the winter and decided not to install the heated grips, bad move. Hope to make it to more than one M&G this year.

Anybody know a good place to pick up a bicycle basket? I took another step toward hipsterdom today.

I have some mountain bikes for single track, I go to PennCycle for parts when needed. I think I have seen some manly-ish baskets there in the past

I just went with a soft tail bag that clamps onto the seat post for long trips. Its nice on wet ground acting as a wheel well or mud flap.

I went there, they have some really nice new bikes styled like this old Schwinn for the low low price of eight hundred damn dollars. Screw that.

I think Pippi will be just fine. Somebody pointed me to Wald baskets, I may just order one online. In silver to match all the other brightwork.

haha they sell some good bikes. They are not retail store bikes!
Both my single track bikes are worth $1-2K but they take a beating every time they get taken out of the house!

Online might be your best bet, seems to be the only resource these days.
