St. Paul's finest are out on the Hogs today running radar.

They'll be in a sour mood from the late start so mind your P's and Q's

I am not planning on doing any riding. Motorcycles are nasty and dangerous.

I'm going to make a quick run up to Duluth tomorrow to get my custom Darien pants altered for the 3rd time. Grainbelt's suggestion of moving the velcro for the kneepads was a good one but the pants seem too short now. Considering what I paid for them I want them done right. I'm going on 4 wheels because I'm a pussy.

On the plus side the saddlebags for rebel 250 came today.

riding

I rode into Minneapolis this morning and it was a bit nippy but wonderful to be riding such a dangerous machine. Stay safe!

Walk around outside on my lunch break for an hour. I saw six piped sport bikes, I smiled like a little boy hearing them. lol

Riding as soon as I get home tonight!

Are your basing the length decision on how they fit while you're sitting on the bike? While wearing your riding boots?

If not, you should.

I sure wish Sally was still around for doing fittings at 'Stich. She was an ornery one, but her fittings were the best.

I've tried it sitting on the bike with the boots on. I've just had bad luck with my custom gear. My custom Darien jacket had to be completely remade. There must be an art to doing the fittings so I'm sorry their expert is no longer around. Metallic Waste told me that women seem better at measuring women. That seems to be true.

You off the rack types don't know how lucky your are.

I hear that motorcycles are really dangerous so it is probably for the best that I won't have any pants warm enough for riding for another week.

Want!

Craigslist Log Cabin in Lanesboro

This would be the perfect kick-off/end point, party central, in the middle of great roads, place. Me want. 7 acres is just enough to have a mini campground. Who's in?

No problem. That's why a fella has kids.

Lazzy, don't feel so special about being picky with the stitch sizing. I had Road Crafter resized a third time before it was even in cue to be made. And I'm glad I did! The first time was by using the online fitting, the second was when I rode up there on a 100 degree day and by no ones fault but my own things got messed up being in a hurry to get out that furnace of a showroom. I rode back up ther a few days later for the third and final fitting ended up being perfect and worth the effort and patience. Now I need to just get out and ride to get that battle armor broken in!

No doubt that's true, but I'm far from off the rack on 'Stich gear. My 1-pc Roadcrafter has, I think, 14 alterations from stock pattern.
