Prop nice place, I assume the back area is the machinist shop. Garage envy

Just getting in from my shop ( well garage) working on cleaning up a old 9" south bend lathe that has been in a barn too long and all rusted. The mini power saw is next. Electrolyses is working charms on the rust.

Looking good Bob - nice lathe. I looked around and tried to find something among my machinist contacts when I was out looking for a lathe but there was nothing going that I could afford, so I ended up with my imported Grizzly, but it's not a bad machine. Couldn't argue with what I paid for it (nil), so that was OK.

That south bend is cleaning up nicely.

My built in area is 16 X 30, so there should be room enough in there for the two lathes and a vertical mill, plus nice long work bench, and a couple of motorcycles at a time. That's the plan. If I need more space than that I'll build out more of the shed, but I don't see a need for that.

I might get rid of one of the lathes. It's just an old Atlas, I'll finish cleaning and assembling it first.

I was thinking about hitting up the monticello harescramble this morning but it is 34 goddamn degrees out and I don't feel like freezing my balls off to ride up there.

Yup, I'll prolly get out today, but not for a little while.

I am beginning to wish I had not left the thermal liner of my Jacket in the KLR side case in Texas.

I will spank eeyore like a

Oh never mind

What does that make Grainbelt then?

I don't think there was a character called Hipster bastard in the pooh books was there?

I went to great lengths to get the worldwide Triumph community to call it "Beaker".

I pissed off quite a lot of Triumph owners in doing so

Hahah ~ Grainbelt is Gopher, the biggest problem he will encounter is that he falls into the tunnels that he engineered. Crap, no wait,,, that is Daggy.
