I am not the public. I do not mind being a BBQ guinea pig.

Yeah, when are we doing that again?

Good question. Spring most likely, but stay tooned.

I kinda thought as much, it isn't hard to talk me out of going to the west bank anyways

So let it be written, so let it be done.

I'm hoping we get another one, although not looking forward to going through the W phase to get there. Let's not talk about that yet.

I have had good experience with them. They did a warranty replacement of a service upgrade on my Tiger gear return spring. To do it they had to have the clutch cover off.

It pissed with rain when I rode down to take the bike in, so my cleaning efforts were wasted.

But when I got the bike back, it was very obvious that the service tech had cleaned all round the clutch cover before removing it. I carefully checked all the screws, and there was no damage or rounding on any of them. I could see the new clutch cover gasket, so I could tell they did the job, and also the clutch cover has never leaked.

So - in summary I was very happy with the work they did.

If you ask around, you will be able to find at least one person who is less happy (although I think he was OK with the service department techs), but I know a lot more people who are happy with the service dept than are unhappy.

Just be aware it is a smaller shop, so less glitz and glamour than a Moon or a Leos for example. But having talked several times to the main service tech there, he is very good, and knows his stuff.

They are the only shop that I have ever let work on one of my bikes (other than tyres - and I do those myself these days).

My wife's new Katana developed an oil leak after the first service at Leo's South. The service involved opening an engine cover on the right side of the motor. Apparently there wasn't a fresh gasket available upon reassembly, so the mechanic just squirted a little silicone seal on the mating surfaces, which wasn't up to the task. Classy.

If you were over on the east side I would tell you to go see Adams Miller's shop Midnight Motorcycle in Hastings. He mostly only wants to work on Wings and Valks though but he will work on anything.

Just hand over the cash and I will go pick the bike up for you!

Anytime it needs work, just hand over more cash and I will get it taken care of.

All it takes is money!

Since we're talking repair shops, has anyone else used Midwest on Nicollet? They did a great deal on new tires for me, as well as a valve check on my Wee.
