I'm hoping the 50's will hold into next week.

Friends, it make me sad reading about how you drain calibrators and put bikes away for winter.

I want to invite you all to my 5th Annual Bald Eagle Ride. http://www.rideforum.net/viewtopic.p...p=14530#p14530

Here is a link to my ride in 2012 http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...ald+eagle+ride

Link to the 2013 ride http://www.rideforum.net/viewtopic.p...eagle&start=80 (description starts at bottom of page)

You can find descriptions of the earlier two ride in rideforum.net.

Come South and ride in the middle of winter.

I dropped the DRZ off at Jon B's place for some off season surgery. I believe the valve timing chain is making more noise than it should be. It will give the old man something to do this winter! It can spend the winter in his basement staying nice and warm. Then in the spring we can all discuss how the best way to ride it up the stairs! Game on

The only reason to drain the fuel bowl in winter is to swap jets

I love this bike. Bestest one I ever had. Won't put many miles on it this year now, but should get through the first 1000 miles for the initial oil change anyway.

Maybe we could meet for dessert at Carol's again?

The title for my YZ showed up yesterday.
Now all I have to do is install all of the dual sport stuff... too bad I can't even find the time to change the oil.

So it may hafta wait till Spring.

Meh. It doesn't look like it'll break out of the 40s. It's all over until spring.

That is awesome! I found an electrical system for my KXF at Pro Racing UK. If all goes right I will make the full conversion including a set of warp9 sumo 17's when I convert my bike back from the Ice set up next spring. I can't wait to get that thing plated. At least if the 450 get's stuck, I won't need 6 guys to get it unstuck

VERY cool!

I have a set of Alpinas with Dunlop slicks... just waiting on the money for brakes (hoping for Beringer). The dual sport stuff is all piled up (polisport HMX, TT Vapor... etc. etc.) and I just have to figure out how I want to wire it all in. Apparently my plan to go mechanical on the horn, and hand signals eliminates the need for any battery! Kick and go!

And I would be way more willing to heave out a KXF from the mud.

Good luck to you, sir. Hope to see you next Spring.

Maybe in the auto again?
Don't think I could wait for Spring for some more Carol's dessert.
