I wave at everybody on two wheels. Kids in town on little scooters seem to be the most oblivious. If only they knew they were part of a holy camaraderie of riders.

I wave if I feel like it or if my hands aren't busy. Don't really think about it much. I wouldn't take it personal if no waves at me… or waves back.

Got waved at and waved a bit yesterday. Would love to give a dual sporter the finger but they may not get the salute reference.

I only wave at lone/couples rider or cold weather riders. Here in SE MN I get to many fair weather and weekend cruisers to worry about everyone. Ooh, I do try wave at all dual sporters and oddities(scoots/sidecars;they deserve the attention)! Lol

Bummer. It was pretty good. Cold and wet, but fun anyway. Great burgers, good times.

Oh - I don't wave at paper when I see him on that fucken Helix, though.

I don't wave very often but I waved at a train today and it honked back.

In other news, vato and prop are cool and the rest of you suck.

The wave thing would make for an interesting science project. I usually wave to the obvious ADV types or the oddities no matter type of bike. Then there's always the surprise wave from Sonny Barger and I'm like WOT ! and hurry up with a low 5 wave and try not to flash a gang sign.

So 5 minutes later I wave at a convoy of similar types or a gang of sport bike thugs and just get totally friend zoned and my once boosted self-esteem is right back where it was, if not lower.

It's a curious thing. When I give waves, most times I get em back. Sometimes I don't wave and I get enthusiastic waves and feel bad for not having the extra .5 seconds to reciprocate. What to do ....what to do ....

Beer.

It was a great day. There is something quite satisfying about being out in that foul weather, and still having a good time because you're warm and dry in good gear. Nevertheless, when the clouds finally broke and it stopped raining, that was somewhat of a relief.

My Darien pants have a big hole in them from sliding down the road, and they still didn't let any water in today.

Not going to complain about that.

DD and Northern Sconnie are in fine shape, we didn't break or scratch anything.
Also no Bambies met there maker today that we know of. Prop's new scoot has now been properly baptized by an 18 wheeler he couldn't seem to get around.

And we are no longer "Monday Burger Virgins".

I now need to run quality control on some Spotted Cow.

Thanks Prop and Grainbelt.

Please remember - Friends don't let friends do stupid things ........... Alone
Where was Gravy???

Saw plenty of deer today. Did you see the pair grazing at the side of the road on the way back? Never mind that one on the Delta Drummond road. That whole encounter a few weeks ago has definitely had an effect - I definitely held back today when previously I would not have. Hence the 18 wheeler thing, for which I make no apologies.

And why is it that half the population of Wisconsin don't know how to turn their car headlights on? Wankers.
