There will not be changes for the '09 and it is way too early for any '10 info.

Seeing as the '09s are shipping now (like mine). AFAIK, there are no '08 models in the US, only '09, with the possible exception of a few special units that BMW NA used for demos, etc.

Nice

Very cool color combo's Kingfish. Kinda makes yellow and black look plain.

For painting the 800GS:

The panels are already painted (not colored plastic) so they'll take paint really well. Just clean them really well, scuff the panels with a scotchbrite pad, and clean again.

I'd recomment using an acrylic urethane since it is flexible, but if you want to use base/clear, just add some flex additive.

At first I wanted mine to be white/black. After looking at all the combo's, I decided to leave it yellow/black. I did remove all the GS decals...think it looks cleaner that way. If anyone wants to see it without the decals shoot me an email and I'll ship you a pic of my bike that you can post for me.

Did you even notice that he was making light of his OWN POST? Maybe you should wander out into the trailer park and ask somebody who made it through high school to explain it to you. Better yet, just wander off. No one here's going to miss you.

This would allow them to offer different versions for each model year.

Hmm, a business Idea.

Al, PM Siamesesilk and Crankshaft. They've done wraps for Cranky's X Challenge.
