Too Good Lookin'
It's been said again and again, but I don't see how you can make this bike look bad.
Perhaps just budgeting $100/mo to go into a Paint Fund would be appropriate: enjoy a new scheme every year!

If you're just doing the front panels it's only an hour or so to remove them. I took the tail section off too, that was a bit more involved but still pretty quick. |

Maybe it has something to do with shame or something I guess. ![]() That being said, I do like (almost) every Photoshoping from OP. There's just the white/light blue that's too much on the girly side for my licking. The all-black litterally rocks! |

New 30 year anniversary model
http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-...nge/11358.html
Here is a link with pictures of the new F800GS 30 year anniversary model. I'm about to get one & can't decide if I should get this one or just the white one. I wanted yellow so I might end up getting the white one then trying to get the yellow panels. If someone knows how to post the pic of this 30 year model in the thread that might be helpful.... The pics were just released today... |

Funny how one tires of the colour. Had my paint specialist go at er and for $850 I got 3 coats of flawless epoxy and 3 coats of clear mat.

color options
Took Blue & White idea and added personal twist ; tried to get back grab bars to match fork tubes ; purple shock spring was result of impatience - Hyperpro woulda had a black one in another week.

Surguy,
That looks excellent. Only way to improve on it would be...heck I don't know. Where did you get the paint work done? Is painting these plastic pieces any different than what the local body shop does to repaint the cheap plastic body panels on our cars? is it costly to have someone paint them? |

First ... Thanx Yeah your local body shop can certainly do it ; no different from autos. Actually some other inmate explained process - its all in the prep work. Buy some automotive paint from body shop supply house and shoot it yourself. If ya don't agree with color , sand it off and give it another go. I'm bettin five hundred for them to do it. Got any buddies that work with Dept. of Corrections - always a cheap easy source to have the prisoners do it. They need the work. Good Luck BCS |

I just got mine done for a trade off for money owed for selling my jeep. It turned out great and was told he would of charged 300.00 canadian for all panels.
This guy gets the paint free from work, and has his own hobby garage so your just paying for his time. Ill get pictures soon, he is in the process of painting another f800 fighter jet grey, mine is military olive.
