Need KLR brake pads ASAP

Can anyone spare any KLR brake pades you might have in laying around?

I knew I had several sets ready for the South America ride, but it turns out they are mostly front brake pads. Between Don and I, we have only one extra set of rear pads.

If anyone has pads you can part with, I'll take them off your hands for now and will replace them when my order comes in. Actually, Laurie will send you the replacement pads, since I will be gone on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I have an order of pads pending, but they will not likely arrive before Tuesday.

I'd like a couple more sets of front pads, and at least four sets of rear pads.

Any you can spare temporarily would be much appreciated. I'll come and get them from you to make it convenient for you.

Marty

Marty, I have two sets of front pads 1 is EBC High Performace Organic Carbon Graphite or Sintered, (FA130R) and The 2nd is SBS Ceramic (1721-0275 /602HF.

Yours if you want 'em. Also Extreme Performance had rears in stock last time I was in there. A bit more expensive than off the net, but yours instantly.

Marty,

I have a set of rears handy. I'll be driving down 470 tomorrow headed for Franktown. Shoot me a PM with your address, and I can drop them off for you.

Thanks, Zach. My experience in the past has been that no one locally carried them. I'll go check.

Well, I had to go to four separate shops, but I got what I needed. Sorry to bother everyone. I had been up all night when I started this thread, so sleep deprivation played a part in my anxiety.

Thanks to those who posted, PMed, or called. Now, go bck to doing something fun!

Performance Cycle carries KLR pads as a rule. Got some there with no trouble last time I messed up and bought one.

...I swear, it's like stubbing your toe on a piece of furniture on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. "Ow! Dammit! I bought another KLR! I knew it hadn't changed, why did I do that?"

Performance Cycle had two rear pads, no front pads at all. It was one of the shops I wiped out on brake pads.
