I'm looking to remove the fairing on my 2001 Transalp 650 and replace it with a Mantis nose cone but I'm having a hell of a time trying to find radiator shrouds to fit. Does anyone know if xr650 ones will fit? Also I've seen a few threads on other sites where people have fitted early cbr600 wheels to theirs, anyone here done this?

A local friend round here snagged Greg's RD04 last year, but that may be old news. We're still dreaming of bringing over some EU RD03s.

Not only a KLR... he paid 7 or 8 thousand US for it!! Apparently difficult to get ahold of bigger bikes down there, $$ wise. I guess that narrows down the choices. We'll use that as a way to cover our jealousy of Chilean riding.

Did you volunteer to keep it running again while he's down there?

Dont you worry about that. Zebra is strong and healthy as ever.

They start and end in Santiago, but because the Dakar ends there this year, they will be somewhere way south of there at the time. Real bummer.

TA in Davis??

On my way to the hardware store this afternoon.

Saw a RWB TA go my north on Pole Line Road.

Anyone on the list? If so give me a shout and drop by for a coffee or a beer.

I saw post, sorry I don't remeber what page, where a guy said he used cr125 shrouds, heated them to bend and fit. Looked good. I made mine out of aluminum. Sturdy protection.

This weekend it was 2x as warm in Ohio as San Fran, which is usually 2 -3 x as warm as Ohio!

We went from 8" of snow to zero in 3 days. Needless to say, the creek's knee deep and rising. Back to 20's and 30's tomorrow
