TORC is closing

TORC, in Washington, IL is closing. Not because of a lack of business, but the owner took a position in NC. He's going to be a distributor or something like that, still in the motorcycle industry. TORC was the best source for alot of accessories. They actually kept things in stock and you could touch it instead of looking at it on the internet.

Today, Brian started a 35% off everything sale. He's going to have normal hours until May 5th. The week after that will be iffy. I went there tonight and loaded up on a motorcycle stand, case of oil, filter cleaner. My son got new pants, gloves, and socks. Ended up saving just over $120.

They've got boots, helmets, chains, tires, tubes, clothes, gear bags, neck braces, pressure suits, goggles, armor, handle bars, grips, and misc. mechanical items. And lots of everything. I think it will go fast.

It's a big loss for central Illinois.

Any idea what brands they carry. I might go over Thursday and look around.

Bell, AFX, Fly, Shift, Thor, Alpinestar on the helmets, clothing, boots. Lots of misc. clothing with everything from Monster to Yamaha on it. Everything is brand name. Too many to remember, but it's not chinese knock off stuff. Hope that helps. Tom

Now we know why Gary and Karl really like those BMWs. I do notice they smile a lot when they ride them.

No problem! I always make sure to try and keep the women occupied while we are away having fun!

This is what we looked like during the SBR! (That would be me with the Smile)

Laugh Hello all

Most wives are better than any of us deserve. Any of you guys do any riding this weekend? Weather was perfect for it. Creek crossing plenty cold after that rain.

To put up with guys like us they have to be a little of their rocker.

Oliver is one of the good ones. He is almost too nice to make fun of, however I am waiting for mine to start.

I wish the weekend would have been one day longer to ride with you guys. But I couldn't have kept up on Sunday. Wrestling that Tenere had me beat. It will be a 250 year next year.

Great job again this year leading the pack!

Brother Tony may have found the pace exciting at times however he survived intact and full of wit!!

You have trained him well!
