Did you make the hoops, or buy those from the guy that makes em for Wolfman?

Nice work Gary. Nice Beemer William, or KTM, or whatever it is.

Brand new tires?

It probably doesn't matter what brand of eurotrash it is.

Yep, new tires.

Looks great. I made my own last winter and the hoops took a bit of ingenuity for sure. I ended up making a hand mandrel bender. Found the design on the EAA website

Check this out. Old school cool. Maybe William was there and this is why he hates mud.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=relmfu&v=k5KhFlGlJZc

Watch all three videos. About 22 minutes long.

Great Vids!

I believe that William was there. Representing the Mother Country on his Huskvarna.

Only you two warped individuals would enjoy viewing 22 minutes of mud.

Those guys look like they were having a blast. They were moving pretty good as well on those antiques. That's dual sport at it's best. And I love those Belstaff jackets. I gotta get me one someday. But I would need a Triumph and it would never end.

William - I picked up a 650 Terra recently and I'm in the same situation with the racks. I'll probably get the hoops from BR Moto and put the rest together myself. That looks very good. I can't tell for sure from the pics but is it also tied into the rear top rack?

This is where Gary tied in:

Hope this helps. This does make the seat hard to remove and replace.

How do you like the TR650?

Thanks for the close pictures. I get it now. I saw where FabOneUp was making those bushings and that would likely make the job easier, but I think I can come up with something like Gary did. And yes, he does very nice work.

I've only got about 60 miles or so on The Terra so far and the jury is still out on it. Some things I like very much but I have a long way to go to get it set up right for me. I've got some goodies on order and we'll see how it all comes together. I haven't decided yet if I'll take it on the SBR or just use the trusty old KLR.

Hey Gary, do you have a local source for the steel tubing?

They have all kinds, sizes, and alloys. They will sell you 3'or 300'. They are quick to ship it too.
