I tried to ride with Shifty Rogers today. He just got the Honda 650XL rebuilt, now it does not shift right. But it sure hauls the mail. He was gonna break it in nice and easy, I guess 90MPH is his idea of nice and easy. Anyway, he went home after about 20 miles. I did about 80 all together, found a few dirt roads and some pig farms, nothing to write home about.

Bbf..

Did you cruise by the house last weekend? I saw a Orange KTM go down the street.

Gettin' bike camping gear ready for next year. Got a penny alcohol stove, pretty cool thing and plan on making a few more out of the aluminum Bud Light bottles.

My extreme weather army bag must be made for folks that weigh less than 200 pounds or do mummy bags fit like a condom that's one size too small?

Yes I did. They paved that road just north of you. I was just out exploring.

Brian, Are you really trying to make me believe that you know what a "one size too small" condom feels like?? Stop bragging.

Which one of you guys were out yesterday? Maybe around 1730-1830. Going east on University Ave in Urbana then pulled into Woodland park. It was dark but I think you were on a blue DRZ? Staples?

Way to friggin' cold. Must have been Pat. Anyone put heated grips on their bike? Looking to do so but wanted input as to the type folks have liked?

Brian if you want, I got some that go underneath your grips and have a high/low setting. I was going to put them on the husky, but I'm pretty sure the electrical system can't handle them.

I can help you install them. You can look at how I have them installed on my DR-Z. I have the type that Zak has. I use a Heat Troller to control the heat. I tried cheaping out once and use the high/low switch. The grips were either too hot or too cold.
