If you didn't know----they are closed on Sunday.
They shut the grill off at 12:30---no exceptions-----if you get there at 12:31 you won't get a burger.

Also--many people have had trouble finding the place----so many have never found it--or when they did the grill was shut down.

On my gps and a map I have at home the town of Moonshine is marked wrong---a mile off.

It's here:
N39 11.436
W87 53.734

I don't do lines---if you don't do lines--better get there no later than 10:30 AM.

I might stand in a short line to hug Shania Twain---but that's about my limit..
Thanks for the info Mark!...My Garmin says Im 3 hours away. Ill leave in time to arrive before 10:30.
Ill also bring a teacup and hammer/nail for the mug tree.

Thanks so much for the invite---if I was home I'd be there.

I left home this morning and am headed to the Mexico border--me and another fellow are going to ride from there (Lochiel, Arizona) to Canada on a new route me and him dreamed up. We'll both be on WR250R's----probably start riding about Saturday or Sunday------I'm holed up in Kansas this minute---see you guys when I get back-------I'd like to meet you guys. I'll be gone a month maybe.

Here's my bike all packed yesterday.

I was just telling my wife today, my riding buddies are worthless. I told her, if BigDog took me for a ride, it would be 6000 miles and we'd be gone for a month....

BigDOg, how are those fancy yellow bags working out? Sweet setup on that little putt putt of yours.

I will let you guys know about Saturday. I am stuck in Nebraska right now.

The bags are awesome----the best part---they make racks for a lot of bikes----I know they make them for the 690---and I have the racks on my 950--so I can just move the bags from bike to bike-------I've tested them already on a couple rides-------I love these things.

They'd be perfect on a 690---my son almost bought a 690--and he was going to put the wolfman's on it. The salesman pissed him off--and that was that.

I'm not too far away, St. Louis area but on the good side of the river, (Ill.)
Keep me in mind for rides as I am only an hour away from Springfield. I'm originally from the Peoria area so I am used to the smell of corn!

I could do Saturday also, I believe, Wife working!!!!

If I can get ahold of the right guy, maybe I could get the Moonshine Lunch run (dirt route) and we could run parts of that also. If theres interest.

Or could run you around the little circle I ride SE of Marshall, known as 3 Creeks.

I'll stick my knobbies on tonight and be ready for whatever.

What time and where do you all want to meet?

Big Dog YOU make me so Jealous!

But I do have friends and family out west, that if you got in a real bind they could be tricked into lending a hand. For that matter, I can probably get you assistance from any Sheriff's office in the land also if you need it. Just let me know what County your in.

BigDog, he prefers you call him Jean Luc. I have been told that anyway.

You come on down here, and I'll get you out on some stuff that will get you lost for a month. Bring a tent and a sidearm, I hear they think Illinoisians' moufs are purddy.

You mean??

You mean there are people who still ride without protection???

Of course on two wheels your best protection is a quick application of torque to the right hand grip in a counter clockwise motion and applying large amounts of the "special Roost substance" to the problem area.

Probably kicked open a can of worms with that comment.... oh well....

Remember, I am a native OKIE, so if any violating is going on, I will be the violator, not the violatee. So the fact that I got a purdy mouth is irrelevant.
