Maybe Facebook would be better for some?!?. When I was looking for girls... I meant riders.. Not writers .
Got my license and motorcycle at the end of July and WOW what an awesome 3000 miles. Thinking of taking it to get painted to heal the battle scars of that drop I made on a hilly boulder ride. Any recommendations??

don't bother if it's a ds. If you're doing it right there will be many more.

So much to learn... Battle scars are good... GOT IT!!
Hope to add to the stable this spri-nter with a smaller bike to crush some rock and kick some gravel up/downhill with. My G650 GS was a real trooper but such a heavy pig when it came to those boulder runs in the Shenandoah Mtns.
I look forward to more dirt and scenic routes but town rider...NOT!! If I was... I'd ride a HD!!

Veterans day ride...

Yep just waiten to see what the weather brings us but up for at least an overnight ride, maybee down in Missouri. Probably trailer them down there like the Swinging Bridges Ride and hotel it from the bike.

More to come....

TMM, you got a good eye, you caught that did you? I don't know, they just don't excite me for some reason. Now if I could find a $2500.00 VStrom with 2000 miles on it like my buddy did, that would be another story... Great bikes and a lot of value though.

I'll let you ride my Fantic when I win the lottery.

Remind me to tell you my RM 125 story sometime.

....played hooky for a few hours with WILL.I.AM

.....he had some gravel roads he wanted to check out as well as some recently cleared RR grade he found while out terrorizing the populace on the Tenere.....

First thing Bill does is whirls around in south Mahomet to go BACK to the speedtrap we just rode thru at 7 mph over the limit. Seems the cop sitting in the SUV behind the billboard was one of Bill's old cronies from PTI. So they talked about donuts and such for 5 minutes while I sat there nervously.....

Back to riding.......

The RR grade in the pic below along Route 10 seems to be in the process of being cleared for some sort of rails to trails dealie....and there we were, with TRAIL bikes....It was pretty smooth and good riding. Some large trees still needed to be cleared so we skirted them in the ditches. No one posted it, so we roasted it....

Here is an innocent IDOT bridge approach minding its own business.....

Geeze Grampa....get down from there.......

Ex cops are the worst hooligans.....

New bike

I bought a 2009 Husqvarna TE 510 over the weekend. Its got less than a 1000 miles on it. I got a fair deal on it because it had a few issues like the starter not working, missing a turn signal, headlightbroken, and broken kick stand. All easy fixes. Looking foreword to doing some riding next spring, but right now I cant ride it do to a back problem that flaired up.
