2-up? what's the appeal?
i know that i'll probably get flamed for this, but what is the appeal of riding 2-up? i've never done it, so i have no point of reference. it has just always seemed to me that riding your own ride would be much more appealing. but, when in a car, i hate not being in the driver's seat. so maybe that has something to do with it as well.

You don't have to pay the tickets.

Are you old enough to know the difference between masturbation and sex with someone else?
Leaning is way more fun with someone else onboard. |

Some of us use our motorcycles as primary transportation. That means that sometimes we need to take our kid somewhere. Further, my daughter likes riding on the motorcycle.

Well, my wife likes to look at / take pictures of the scenery...listen to mp3's...and adjust our route to her points of interest.
Generals don't drive, just instruct :) I get to have someone to share the ride, and a backrest... The OG screwed with this post 10-05-2008 at 05:44 PM |

My first two up was nearly 30 years ago.
I ended up marrying her. With absolutely no regrets. |

my old lady got a bike a few years ago. she crashed it monday, tuesday, and friday while taking instruction from the MSF master instructor, and then it sat in the garage for 14 months before she sold it.
so it would seem that some are not cut out for 1 up. |

What's the appeal of 2-up?
-You get to share an adventure! -You get someone to cuddle with in the sleeping bag at night ![]() -The passenger can be on the lookout for the turn, the motel, the restaurant, the gas station, while you negotiate the traffic. -If things start going to shit, one of you can maintain the quiet voice of reason and calm. -If you don't have room for all of the dessert, you can share it. -You can relax in the shade while the passenger goes from motel to motel to get the best deal. |

Some women are almost like people.
Sometimes it's fun to do things with other people.

...but then again maybe the hand cream is your ticket.
