St. Louis Area ADVRider's Hump Day Shindigs!
I've been thinking.
KC ADVRider's have a regular monthly BBQ gathering. I've been to a few of them and each time I enjoyed meeting up with our brothers and sisters on the wrong side of the state. I see no reason why those of us on the right side of the state shouldn't follow suit by having the local ADVRider contingent gather at the many M/C friendly establishments that are in and around our town. .Here are a few places that come to mind. Fast Eddies I've been there a few times. It's probably St Louis areas most popular M/C hangout/restaurant. They have a big secure M/C only parking lot with ice cold beer and good, cheap food. ![]() It's been checked out and given ![]() I was at a new place this weekend called Triumph Restaurant. The Triumph is a lot more sophisticated than Fast Eddies. It is a motorcycle themed restaurant adjacent to the Moto Museum. Very good food. Not cheap but reasonable priced good food with great choices of beer. Your wife will even like it. I give it ![]() The waitresses are hot there too. ![]() I've only heard of Shady Jacks. I think I'd like to go there before the weather stops cooperating. I hear Wednesday evenings a fun night there. ![]() Oh, so you all know. Any day can be a hump day. ![]() Any thoughts, interest and / or suggestions? ![]() Buzzez screwed with this post 10-06-2008 at 07:35 PM |

One more thing.
A spur of the moment gathering can and will be summoned if another foreigner ADVRider from some foreign land like Minnesota or Indiana comes to town and is looking for something to do.

been to 2 of those
Checked out shady jacks bout a month ago, seemed pretty mellow, and you can get that new tat you always wanted to match your harley..... Fast eddies is larger, has cheaper/better food, and is very busy. Have not checked out the other.

Well there you go.
I've always wanted a tattoo. I wonder if they'll tattoo this on my arm.

I will try to be there.. I found a used aeroflow windshield for my GS..
Man what a difference, it's like "peace & quiet" a little warmer too without the wind pounding me.. I must be getting old..

Just FYI, our group has a Bike Night at the Sonic Drive In on the corner of Kirkwood Road (Lindbergh) and Big Bend right across the street from Doc's HD every Wednesday night.
It is a mixed group but there are a couple of GS riders as well as 5 Vee and Wee Stromers. Any time after 6:00 pm. Udhawg

I was at Casa on the Rock Road last night and thought the get together was at Jacks Ironhorse over there (the old Cadilac Jacks). I'm glad I didn't miss it.
