Boys First Bike....
MY second bike growing up as a TS125, that lowly slow machine carried me many many miles and rarely never came home under its own power. Could there be a more reliable smoker?
Well tonight I just bought one, a well used 79 Model with Title, its going to be a father/son project. In Arkansas you get a M/C license for under 250cc when your 14. I've looked at dozens of bikes, most was out our price range right now. This deal came up, and its about the right height, and they're a reliable engine, not to spunky to get a kid in trouble. 65MPH tops. Its in a sad state of repair. Runs but barely. Compression felt down quite a bit. Miles unknown as the speedo is missing. So the adventure begins tomorrow to put a classic piece of Japanese iron back on the road for a new teenager to explore and have adventures on. Pictures to come tomorrow once we unload it. Its not a pretty machine right now.
