dlrides: come on, what is it?

I've brought across 3 sets (f&r) Heidenau K60S. 35 Euro front 65 rear. Now have about 8000 km on them, back is done - front will likely be good for another 2000 km. Really quite impressed with them as a 50/50. If you're riding lots of different terrain and want ONE tire, this one really is quite good with decent life.

This is a total NEW tire by a current popular mfg'er. It is reported that 8K kilometers wear is normal !

My riding partner rode the weekend on the tire and it performed flawless on ALL terrains ! I am finishing a TKC before mine goes on, but this will be the tires I use for my type of riding after seeing it in action.

VERY limited availibility at present ! DeBandi and I will keep you posted.

From this weekend !

WHere can I procure this tire (front and rear) in the U.S.
it reminds me the Metzeler Sahara but with a more convincing tread pattern.
If the walls are strong, then it would be a winner since this is the main grievance against Metzeler Sahara.

THanks
