Rain, relief or pain?

In the Summer months, a refreshing rain shower is a welcome relief at times and yes, one does dry out rather quickly.

In the Winter months, not so much. Getting wet with or without a rainsuit when it's friggin' freezing sucks (fill in your own expletive). Nuff said.

Team tagging sounds like fun...... Dolomoto and SavannahCapt and I should get some team tagging done.

The marker is the tag
Troglodytidae..............this may name the avian for which the municipality takes its name.

If the tag is still up tomorrow, I may take a run at it. Once I get that far north, I get the urge to keep going to north Georgia.

It's on my list. Also would like to do the TAT before I get too old. So many destinations, so little time.

Leaving Screven County on a crisp morning with my 30, 000 mile thumper motor just humming along, I thought it was the cool air giving it some extra umph. Of course when I turned and was no longer going down wind......

Next Tag

Just down the road from the last tag location is this great place to eat in a Georgia town named after a French King.

The best part of the BRP are the side roads along its path. The 35 mph speed limit on the BRP along with the tourists detracts from the experience. I'll still go though

Wife and I are riding the BRP in May. We are going to Myrtle Beach for one night. Virginia Beach the next. Then cutting across to the top of the Parkway and making our way back south staying at motorcycle only campgrounds. Ending with a night in Helen.
Will post a thread about it when we return. With photos.
