I've been down that road a few times myself. Wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow.

Robert, Jub, Mike

If it is still there Thursday I could ride with ya'll, we could "tag" team it. Been a long time since we saw one another, have not had the pleasure of eyes on the Victory yet either.

If not, no biggie.

You know, that's not a bad idea. Haven't had the pleasure of an eyeball for a while. We should do this. Hopefully I'll have some heated riding gear under the tree.

I couldn't have asked for better weather Saturday when i picked the tag.... Sunny and 84 degrees. Had to take the liner out of the vented pants to get some cooling and the full textile jacket --- well i wish i had packed the vented jacket in the bags.

Unfortunately i can't suggest good eating places near the tag.... I get into that 'mission' frame of mind and can't seem to stop long enough to eat.....Hell - i can only think of two times in all the courthouse hunting and tagging that i stopped for lunch.....

I'm in for Thursday. Sounds like fun.

I don't stop for eating much either when I am on my own. I hate having to use public bathrooms for anything other than a piss. So I try not to eat too much if you know what I mean.

if things work out the way i plan, y'all might not have so far to ride. if the wife is cool with it, i'll get it this afternoon. understandably, her hackles went up when i suggested it last night.... but i might have that smoothed over by this afternoon.

3hr run from my house, round trip. i'll plan on keeping it south. might even post it near work so i can loiter on the tag.

I thought our friend from Ray City might be on it. If you get it, put it where you like, it is not the location, it is the get together. If you wish to shake a hand or four, put it outside your work. Matters not to me. It has rained ALL night, going to rain all day.

Mike, Jub, Robert, I am tied up until Thursday, any of ya'll want to get it before then, go for it. The 5 of us are pretty close, meaning Mike, Jub, Robert, tsimmons, myself and even Fireman is not a day's ride away either.

If we don't work it out this time we will next. It may work out for this Thursday, who knows.

I'm out of town all week, but would love to get together for a group ride soon.

ok. here's the my version.... the 8pm version....

the gravel/asphalt drive is behind my bike with the washout visible.
My photos submitted for approval of the masses. I'll get the new tag in the morning. 3.5hrs on the bike in the rain. I was in the rain until the last 6 miles to the tag.... which was convenient so i didnt have to protect my camera for the photos. :)

coordinates according to gps... specifically, the southern most bridge at the state line on Ga 23, just south of Ga 185.
