To bad I'm in the cage or this would be cooling off in the mountains.

This weekend, I am headed to Newfoundland, so I will be out of the game until mid July.

Anyone feel like getting this tomorrow? I have a birthday party to attend so I won't be riding anything tomorrow, maybe Sunday.

i'm working my back-side off. we sign on a refinance deal on house next week. appraisal went well with an increase in our house value of over $20,000 since 2012. amazing how certain things impact the housing market so severely.....

as it is, we're going to Panama City for our 21st anniversary on the 26th. till then, i'm literally working on almost every off day this month to compensate for scheduleing conflicts.

but i have to say. i think the guys that did the appraisal were pretty impressed with my Jeep and my KLR. i did ask them if those two items increased the house value any.... may have helped. lol...

The Coastal Empire tag is right down the road near Midway. The CETOR is close to both Speeds Kitchen and Old School Diner...with a.bit of planning, a rider could get both tags and have great seafood for lunch and dinner.

Harris Neck NWR would be a worthy diversion.

KLR adds points to the house value, especially if you have hard luggage vs. a milk crate.

Howdy GA Fans,

I wanted to join (subscribe?) to this thread so it will email me the notifications of new posts.

Here is my lame excuse:

Hey GAVic,

Do those little mirrors work on the Vision? Worth trying?

Yea they help. I can see cars that are behind me easier. With these I don't have to do quite as much leaning to look around my hands.

I have been thinking about putting mirrors on the handlebars though.

i wonder.... is this place open on sundays? wife is thinking about letting me have sunday to myself. this would wind up being an all day ride on my turtle. its too far for the wife to join me, though. her bike isnt a good distance machine.

edit: looks like open at 12pm... until??... need to try that poboy. 3.5 hrs by KLR.... was gonna bail out and get it tuesday. glad i never said anything about going, though. she had a bunch of stuff for me to do.

I just found out that my grandson's other grandma died today. The funeral service will be Saturday, so that pretty much quenches any plans for Saturday. I might try to get this Sunday if the planets and stars are in perfect alignment. It's about a 2.5 hr ride from Warner Robins. Not too bad, but, I'm sure to hit a shower somewhere. Free showers are a plus during hot, summer rides.

I been needing some cooling off, it's melt your face off hot here in the sandbox. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have been hitting 112 and the sun is intense.

I'm heading back to GA next week and am eager to get some miles going again.

For R&R or permanent?

If it's permanent, I might need to oil my chain.
