We woke up and pretty much headed straight there. "We need gas and this tag is close to a station" Dad says.

My friend's dad owns the place and I passed it every day headed to school, so I knew it right away.

Ride safe! New location later.

Before Jub gets on here bitching don't forget to put the GPS coordinates of the tag you found so he can update the map.

Congrats Brody!

I wanted to do something a little further away, but time and resources (IE The Job) didn't allow it for now. Maybe next time.

That thing is a real "rubbernecker" when you first pass by it at night.

PS: I should get some kinda trophy for riding across that gravel parking lot in the dark on a Vision. YIKES!

I'll give ya the gravel award SPOAT, based on what Brody is on he thinks nothing of gravel, dirt, water, sand, etc. Then again, he is not up front trying to control the big pig with 5 days of camping gear and supplies on it.

We will head to place Elsa and the new tag after lunch, my headlight blew so I just got that replaced and our comm system had an issue it took a little bit to find but all is well now. If I had been paying attention we would have gotten it last night, you are correct, it is an eye catcher lit up.

We are showing are age SPOAT, Brody just asked me what "rubber necking" was, I'm still laughing about it.

Nice shot of the Boxer, do ya still have it?

Terry

I never see cars there. I thought maybe they went out of business.

Actually, the owner just got a license to run the place not too long ago.

Terry

I don't ride much at night. Old and about blind. I wheeled into that parking lot last night at road speed and didn't realize it was gravel. I'm still new to the Vision and it was a hand full. Live and learn.

Sold our beloved boxer in '08. Got my 100K BMW mileage award on that bike. Should have kept her, but she was pristine (limited edition model) and really worth a good penny. Thought I should sell her to a guy who wouldn't be putting as many miles as I did.

Jody is flying in from San Diego tonight. Thought we all might get together soon and have him cook a bar-b-que or something. I'll pay for all the fixin's. That boy can sure cook!

Thanks for the reply SPOAT and welcome to the game, we are glad to have ya. 96 -97 on the bike today, in full gear that was hot. We hit a fifteen minute downpour that was really a life saver.

Now about that BBQ, it would really cut into your gas money as there are a few of us in this town and its sisters near here. How 'bout we throw a penny or two in your jar and enjoy the company. I don't think any of us will turn down BBQ. Let us know when.

Be well.

Terry

I went right by the tag today around 3:30, did you pass a red Vision during your travels.
