yea, we keep having afternoon t-storms blowing through. been almost daily this whole week. cools it down a little, but every morning has been so muggy, breathing feels like the air has taken on the consistency of liquid rather than air.

Yup. Grad and I stayed at TWOs last night. We were the only two at the lodge, and there was one guy camping. Slept like a baby after 330 miles and the window open listening to the waterfall. Got up early this morning and ran all the usual roads before it got hot. Great couple days riding.

Have you done the road from Walhalla, SC to Highlands, NC yet? It's awesome.

Agreed. You cannot go wrong. Or pick up Wayah out of Franklin, excellent, excellent, excellent. Warwoman and Wayah are two roads I ALWAYS ride when up there. Ride Wayah both ways, two different scenes with water on the left then right.

Why did you guys need to bring this up, now I will think about it all day.

Yep. Highway 28. There are so many great roads up there besides the really popular ones. You just have to get out and explore. Town Creek School Rd., Fain Branch, Craig Gap all are off 180 toward Brasstown Bald, and all are awesome roads. BTW Wolf Pen Gap has fresh pavement from 129 to Suches. The FZ09 was built for roads like that.

Nice clue, found it. 218 miles one way so not bad, but I know I could not beat JubJub there. Near the tracks, water tower, and even on Peachtree St. Shall I take off now or wait till the morning?

If you'd like to grab it, be my guest. I have sprinkler problems I need to address. If you don't get it though, I might get it later in the afternoon.

I'm on call, or I would grab it.

Although, if I had some riding time, I would probably head back towards north for a little less heat and humidity.
