It wouldn't be the first 2-wheeler abandoned in Corvallis. Ask the UHaul people about it, they should know who's it is if it's sitting on their property.

I saw this on Craig's list. First Wednesday M/C meet up. 6 PM at the down town Dream Pizza, Corvallis.

Next one is on March 4th.

I'm trying to plan a trip to eastern oregon. I don't know where to start but a rabbit hunting/sage rat shoot is also somthing I'm looking at. Christmas valley, Unity, Burns are a few locations. any info you guys might know will be of great help. I know a few places to hunt very few places to ride( new rider)

I used to go to Christmas Valley and shoot them little buggers Just pull up to any ranch and ask permission...Most times its a YES if not move on to the next ranch. Many times the rancher would tell you what pasture he wants cleared out. many times they will hand you a brick of .22 longs if that's what you are shooting..... Have fun shoot safe if you want company give me a shout out....

Hey Valleyites,
I've been in a bad groove in recent years, but finally trying to journey more. Sleeping outdoors with the good wolf at Raindogf's last summer still affects me positively. Anytime, anywhere let's ride/camp. I've got free places to camp near Mt. St. Helens, Hell's Canyon and Crater Lake, but love any great journey. If anyone wants the Smith River journey to Gardiner, let me know.

(also, I'm looking at campground out of Paisley. If anyone want's to explore Silver Lake/Cowboy Dinner Tree ((26oz Top Sirloin steaks, $23,)) PM me ).

Hey guys,

Looks like I need to replace my front tire tube... been patched too many times. Anyone know of the cheapest place around the Corvallis area to get a tube?

Cycle gear heavey duty was some thing like $25.ish i think...i might have a spare with maybe 1300 miles on it if you need one...

Is Cycle Gear in Salem? I'm looking for somewhere in Corvallis, that I could get to by bike, since the Zebra is my only means of transportation... haha.

don't scrimp on tire tubes. I got lots of flats on the KLR, until I stopped buying cheap tubes. Go for a good name brand, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc.
I have had no flats since I did.

Yea that's good advice. I was planning on buying some good tubes. Any recommendations on where to get said tubes within biking distance of downtown Corvallis?

I'm out of Mich tubes right now but I have a standard in stock, $25 installed. 25th and Grant.

Yep,, I'd rather pay a bit more up front for a durable tube, than have to change another flat in the rain on a gravel path somewhere 50 miles from town,,and I always carry a compressor! go big,, or go home!
