Stebel horn on a 800 GS?

After having a stebel horn, on all my other bikes, I obviously want one or...two...on my 800 GS. I had two on my '06 GT and they worked...great!!
My question is...where do I put on on my 800 GS? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'd also like to see what others have done.

I separated the horn and compressor. I mounted the horn below the radiator on the left side. I mounted the compressor above the radiator, just below the left snorkle.

I used fuel line to connect the two.

Next time I take the side pannel off, I'll snap a pic.

Sounds like a cool idea DB. I'm going to go get mine right now to try it! OK, got it apart without breaking it, This definitely increases the available mounting locations.

Stebel Pics on F8GS

Mr Pete, here you go:

I, by no means, claim this is the approved solution, but it works for me. I'm sure there are better ways to mount this stuff.

I've used zipties to hold the horn and compressor in place.

DieselBoy,

Great pic's, this tread gave me the confidence to order my Stebel Nautilus Compact horn and make an attempt to install it on my F800 GS. I have a question : in your pic's there appears to be two relays, are two relays used for the Stebel Natilus compact horn? I see the horn relay, what is the other relay for??

The other relay powers my AP1 fuse panel (not shown).

Well, yes, but it looks like every other F8GS. You looking for anything in particular?

Thumb Stebel Magnum

I installed the Stebel Magnum. Not quite as loud as the Nautilus but still very loud and I mounted it in the same location as the stocker. Piece of cake really.

Here is a link from Pirate's Lair but you can find them online cheaper from automotive supply houses. I think I paid 12.95 plus S&H.
