Thumb court is over, the verdict is in,,,,

Well, my attorney went into a back office with the sheriff's deputy before court time and they cut a deal to offer the judge. I paid the fine on the citation, but they will hold the paperwork from going to DMV for 365 days. If I get no more moving violations within that time, the paperwork goes into the trash, and all is good. Whew! The judge had a different view, but both my attorney and the deputy spoke with him and he was agreeable to the diversion. Thank you Mr. attorney, thank you officer, and thank you judge.

So, now I need a speed limiter device implanted in my brain, or as my friend Shasta Rick says,," do your riding on the dirt"..........

Now for the next one,,,hope it works out as well, I ain't out of the woods yet!

PM....dude you are skating on thin ice...be a model citizen for 364 days so that we don't lose ya!

Oh yes, remember [and I know you know] that LEOs are also on dirt [SO,BLM,USFS] so be kool cuz a moving violation means more than just a speeding ticket....or consider a change of identity or getting a green card...

Sector, the next one is arraigned in about 10 days, my attorney took the ticket with him to "see what he can do".

G-Funk,,,dude! the lobotomy was done yrs. ago,,that's the problem,,the only part of my brain they left is that which controls motor(sickle) functions.

Wallowa,, I have blown past FS, Fish and Game, and State police in pickups, at 60mph on gravel roads, and never had an issue. When I see ANY other vehicle I slow, but I have often (always) been waved around "official" vehicles in the woods around the state. Sometimes I even try not to dust 'em too badly!

SweetSixty,, I'm with ya on the stealth shielding, now if I only knew where to buy stealth fighter paint!

Loud AL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ferget it! (but I'll bet that would be fun to ride,, it gots 2 wheels, anna engine, eh?) do they make knobbies for those?

Peterman... dude....

I got a line on the paint if you are serious.

Not sure if you should bath in it or not.
I think you should park the beast unless you have an escort... Take the grass hopper... maybe consider gearing it down... better to ride a slow bike fast and all that. I was riding Fugly and came around a corner... cokin, thought to myself, self... that cop is gunnin... checked my speed cause I was flyin... but I was about 3 mph under the limit... it was still fun.. just sayin...

Hope he has good luck in the court.
It was touch and go for a few minutes this morning, the 'regular' Judge was not in her courtroom, so I had a substitute judge sitting in from another jurisdiction, and at first he didn't want to flex.
Then he wanted to charge me the maximum fine, which he thought should be refundable at the end of the 365, but that wouldn't fly with the revenue collector (deputy sheriff), so both he and my mouthpiece approached the bench, and did some convincing.
Thankin my lucky stars this day,, ought to go buy a lottery ticket!

Glad things have worked out so far . . . . Just remember it's that twisty thing on the right that gets you into trouble.

But that same twisty thing makes it more FUN!

Wait a minute what am I doing?

I'm sposed to be packing!

Peterman, you could always just ride in the wee hours of the morning.
Around here no state cops around 4 am, well I've only seen one in the last two years, and he was not interested in me. I was doing 85 - 90 mph and he blew by me like I was standing still
