Scouts, down at Woody's?
You would think I'd know better by now. They have a pair coming in for someone special.

Eat it.

Pics of shitshow.

At least the skirt wasn't broken yet and floating around in the bottom end.

You're lucky. I couldn't find that part of my doo'. I'm praying it came out in the PO's last oil change.

Not that much muscle.

It's a 1979 Suzuki GS750ES. It has 850 jugs, K&N Pods, Kerker 4-1, Marzochi shocks. I used to think it was pretty fast.

This is a pic of the bike before I sold it to a friend.

I got it back in boxes about 5 years later in somewhat worse condition.

It was my first street bike. I'd like to return it to the street someday with more modern running gear and brakes. A '93 GSXR front end will bolt right on, and a later GS1100E alum swingarm will also bolt right up with a 17" Katana rear wheel and brakes. I'll probably do some bracing on the frame so it will cope with modern tires.

I don't like what I'm seeing to change out dash lights though. I"ve got a couple out but if the tach or speedo is in that range after dark, I'm not going to be looking down there anyway.
A couple of my dash lights have been out for 2 years. I had to get in there for the HID's so I figured I'd do it.

I was thinking the same thing!

I need to get inside my XR4 too. My piston isn't slapping around, but I am using oil. I'd probably get away with rings, but I'm intrigued by the big bore kits

I guess I won't know til I tear into it, but I'm running out of places on the shelves to stack the bike pieces.

Ah...

I had visions of my bike looking like yours but maybe one more year.

Hey, can you see the stator after pulling a cover? I want to see if mine is toasty looking.

Just ring it. Quick job. In an out, one day.

Yup. It's bolted to the cover. I've got a slightly used one if you need it.

Not sure which one I liked better.

Or this one...

Come to think of it... I think this had them both beat.
