I started my weekend with a great ride over Bear Notch and around to Sandwich Notch Rd

4 miles from my front door, Hurricane Mt. Rd.

Bartlett Experimental Forest, Bear Notch. I was disappointed to find most of the roads were closed.

Historic Road "Established 1801". This is gonna be good

I was going to make a photo stop on Sandwich Notch Rd, but I was having too much fun! 6 miles or so with a big stupid grin from ear to ear. What a hoot!

Sandwich Memorial, Sandwich, NH. Smell-o-vision would provide you with the scent of the lilacs in bloom.

A great ride on a beautiful day to start my long weekend. Hope you all had as much fun as I did.

OK who is this?

Gotta know, who is this?
Saw him in the Liberty area. NICE set up.
Cool tie too.

The dogs lips were flapping almost as much as his ears.
Going to the local parade.

I don't know his name, but I know his story. Him and his wife got big inheritance money at one point and live it up in Liberty.

Fact points:
-Lives on Stevens pond in a large complex with two kids which they spoil rotten
-Owns a apocalypse van that is bulletproof, 4wd that he bought in CA from a paranoid guy and drove it xc
-Has a couple jeeps
-Is a volunteer firefighter

His name escapes me.

He rides that thing across Lake St George in the winter while wearing a BIG overcoat and a russian hat with ski goggles.

I had a really great weekend of riding in around Newfield with two of my daughters, even got the grandson on the bike, and then went on an awesome ride Memorial Day up around brownfield area, for the full picture story check out my smugmug page.http://team8.smugmug.com/Motorcycles...392275_8fKg6Qk
this picture is up Devils Den, Brownfield. No pics for the climb up but it was extremely tough, running water, slippery mudd and boulders. we both made it up first try thankfully.

Looks like fun. Wish I could have joined you guys - let me know next time you're heading out for something like that, hopefully I'll be able to make it.

WOW, you don't have his Social Sec. # do ya?????

Just kidding,
I figured he was on here at some point or someone would know him. The dog was the topper in the sidecar.
Looked like he was going to the parade to ride the bike along with the many fire trucks.

Tools are good. I only plan to plug a tire, change a fuse, etc.

These things are critical to me.

Rain gear solution... you have to stay dry. One trickle gets in with 50 degree weather and you're done pretty quickly.

Heated vest, at a minimum.

Water. I use a camel back in my tank bag to sip as I ride.

Credit cards and phone can solve a lot of the unplanned issues. Call the cc company before you go and let them know that you're traveling and can expect to see gas purchases in several states, etc. Keep a second card some place separate from your wallet in case you misplace it.
