Then added some tank protectors. Mainly to cover up the 'memories' on the unprotected tanks.

I WISH my nine-fiddy were that clean right now.

I washed the DR350 over the weekend too, after a valve adjust, oil change, lube this, grease that, etc, etc. Getting her all ready for winter. After two winters of riding it thru everything winter has to offer, there is no sign of any ill affects. Of course I do clean it regularly. My wife tells people I clean it with a toothbrush, but that's not really true - I just happen to have a large assortment of brushes, some of which are about the size of a toothbrush.

Didn't drop it at all. Yesterday.

Yes, Rich. What do you use?

My second washing was a result of seeing what I didn't get to with the Simple Green and 4" paint brush method.

Got a set of brushes from Whitehorse that also come in handy. Still can't eat off my bike.

It was due. Put it off not wanting to get the unfiltered view of the 'memories' but I know, come this winter when I'm tinkering on it, I'll be glad it's not caked in mud.

Lots of different nylon bristle brushes (including tooth brushes) and 40 years of practice.

Hot water from hose connected to the washing machine connection in the basement and

cut 4:1 with water.

yes, the ride home from work was nice and felt like not stopping at home for awhile...

went south and got the parts to fabricate a Rube Goldberg-ish, self-designed, thickness sander.

wonder: A) if it'll work as hoped, B) will I still have all my fingers tomorrow.

rotating motion or 1 directional?

Speaking of winter projects...how's the amphibious car coming along, MWS? Is it time to accessorize it yet?

Movie night tomorrow...at Friend/Friend Orono

MOVIE NIGHT WEDNESDAY, NOV 30. Whether you come in for the 20% off MX apparel & helmets deal on Wednesday or not, you should be thinking dirt that night. It's going to be Extreme Enduro night at the movies in Orono. After a short on Red Bull's Last Man Standing we're going to The Iron Giant; Erzberg. These guys are crazy and great entertainment.
