a little followup on inspection/reg stuff
after being told by the inspector not to put the sticker on the old plate, I wondered what to do after I got the new registration sticker at town office. Town office lady said she had not heard anything about a new bike plate but would check on it.... she did and said there is no new plate coming out for bikes...so reg and inspection stickers went on today...

greatday to play hooky and go for first ride of season...imma slackah compared to you folks

nice twohundrit miler backroad tour, went to Plaistow NH to meet Mr. Ted Wojcik!!!

Today makes two weeks since they picked it up...i called yesterday

"just checking on the status of my X?"

"Thought I left you a message, scheduled to drop off wed the 16th"

"Sweet, but i didn't get a message. I'm actually home for a few days and may be able to p/u"

"lemme check to make sure the stalling is fixed"
calls back..."apparently it's not, guess we need to solve that by next wed"

Interesting.....I had a bike inspected yesterday and the guy said it was a new designed plate that had an obvious place for the sticker.

Yes I am back in Maine (got home last Sunday) and will post a follow up Southeast ride summary.

Said goodbye to a trusty friend....



.....and hello to a new adventure machine while passing through Tennessee( and I already know that I can pick it up)

Wiil try and post details over the weekend but basicly..........I survived and it was awesome. Life is good.
