My fuel pump was OK, it was the injectors that were plugged. Once that got fixed and the charcoal canister got rerouted (staling in the rain) Bella ran great. Most of my frustration came from the mechanics at Streets. They weren't truthful about the repairs they said they were doing. Once the bike went to Max's and *actually* had new injectors installed and the charcoal canister *actually* rerouted, it was fine. Go figure.

Thanks. I had the perfect bump run going at Sugarloaf and caught an edge. Fell on my dominant shoulder and broke it in 4 places. Another week of bone healing then off to MRI to see if my rotator cuff is torn. When all that is done it's off to have the meniscus in my knee fixed. If all goes well I'll be feeling fine by the end of the year.

Meanwhile I'm not doing much of anything that requires 2 arms

Next year things will be better

A motorcycle inspection station is going to check for both a low and high beam during an inspection, correct? The reason I ask is because I am considering installing a single beam 35w HID system in my DR650. The single beam system is still much brighter than the stock DR650 high beam

Also, do you have to have your motorcycle inspected in the same county that you live in?

Yes, low and high have always been looked at.

No restrictions on where you have it inspected.

What you do after the inspection is up to you.

Right, my inspection is due this month. I will get it inspected then switch the HID system in. Its about a 10 minute install so no big deal to go back to stock for next inspection.

FWIW I put a hi/lo HID in my '02 DR650 last fall - been working well so far.
