Life really sucks sometimes...sorry to here of your loss.

I have been trying to heed your gentle words of wisdom for a while now. Life can often be cut short so we all need to appreciate and enjoy who we have and what we have at this moment for tomorrow...

again our thoughts are with you my friend...

Jeff was a great guy. My family hangs out at the Snow Bowl all winter and Jeff was always kind. He also did lots of work for Citizens for a green Camden (headed by my mother) and always went out of his way to help even when there was no return in it for him. He will be missed as a person and for all he did for the Camden Snow Bowl.

My condolences to you.
Our heart goes out to his family as well.
He was quite an individual to say-the-least.
I recently lost a VERY close friend and riding partner (bikes and sleds)... I feel your pain.

Take care

On my way into work this morning, I had to pull over for a rescue unit going by in Buxton, and saw a smashed-up car on a wrecker in Scarborough.

Seriously?

I could see that if it was a real storm, but the roads were just wet. Oh well, I tend to underestimate the stupidity of the masses.

When SpawnOfEC was learning to drive I told her it's the little storms you have to worry the most about. Particularly at the very beginning. (Nothing's treated yet.) 5-6"+ coming down and people seem to get it. They either stay home or slow down. Or at least most of them do. Less than an 1"+ and people don't understand simple physics. IOW, you have less traction when there's snow/ice on the road - even if it's a wee bit. Maybe even less 'cuz it's a wee bit and it packs down like ice under the tires.

Pretty uneventful down here. 1-2" maybe in the higher elevations. Lots-0-rain today, though.
