If I still had every dollar I spent on motorbikes I would be a richer man but a poorer person.

Nuttin.
Plates ran out on the GSA today and with 300ft of packed down snow/ice to the shed she sits in -4C and waits for a thaw. KLR is coming out this week for the winter but the scooter is still doing daily duties till then.

What he said!

It'd be a haul from SW NH but I'd love to help (and get the chance to meet you). Like Pwrcrzr, I can't say I know anything about setting up hacks but if you need someone with the qualifications of strong back and weak mind, I'd be there !

My full fabrication shop is at your disposal in case stuff in the "kit" doesn't fit right (and it usually doesn't).
Enjoy the ride brother.

What HE said!

I am currently working on a plan that will put me in distant lands around that time, but if I'm around, I can run a grill and do beer runs for the more mechanically inclined. I can envision a gathering in the making!

First, thank you all for the words of encouragement and your PM's.
Second, thanks for keeping the "you are inspirational" stuff to a minimum and off the forum pages. I am not and am undeserving of any of that BS.

The Enduro Sidecar is coming from DMC as a "complete kit" including subframe for the GS. I am hopeful that it will be somewhat straight forward and with help I will be able to pull it off.

I could have sold my GS and bought a completed rig, but I am afraid to be bikeless for even a single day and fear that one day without could stretch to forever without. I can't stand that thought.

I bought the kit to give myself a new challenge although driving a rig may turn out to be challenging enough in its self. Having a completed rig to just look at all winter just didn't do it for me. The GS is not the perfect bike for it but I don't really give a shit. I am doing it anyway.

I drove a rig up at the sidecar museum this summer........and hated it. I will miss that moment of rush when you first hear and feel a peg scrape as your laying into a turn..

A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

Maybe a "gathering" at some point would be in order. I don't drink much these days but if you bring crack, heroin, bath salts, or crystal meth I could be enticed.

Thanks again for all your offers of assistance. You are good men and I am privileged to be included in your sphere of good will.

Enjoy the Days

MC
