I think that's your pucker reflex. I'm guessing your pucker is in the same place as everyone else. ewww!

My pucker reflex comes in way too late to be useful.

Things like the following go through my mind first...

- I should have let go of the damned bike.
- That's going to make walking difficult.
- I think I'll be needing a beer now.
- That could have been a lot worse.
- Wonder what he's writing on that ticket?
- Wonder if my wife will come get me.

That last is usually when I notice my pucker.

Sometimes I like to look back and reflect on just how much I'm learned from making Tom go first.

"Hey Tom. I'm gonna take off before Mary gets here. Cool!?"

And I wonder why I'm not set for life with free beer.

More 'Best Of..."

Some kinda hot...

Running the groves...

Love this gas station...

The other side of the 'green curtain'...

Hung with some locals in Sierpe...

This is how the bread gets delivered in the morning...

Breakfast where the dood runs across the street to buy bacon 'cause that's what we asked for...

Dog cooling his jets...

On our way out of town...

Big burnt tree on the road across the river...

It all makes me want to go out and fire up that snowblower...

Great pics, EC. Especially, the 1st one of the gas station. I have to confess thinking, "wow, that'd be a pretty fancy station, even here in the states." Then I started looking more closely. Then I scrolled down to the next photo .

More white stuff on the way . I have no doubt, you're thinkin of the next trip South.

Here's the only picture we've taken so far . . . arriving home last Sunday. Got up at 4:30 am, headed out around 5:30 and arrived back in Saco at 4:00 pm after a 280-mile ride home.

Pic from the seller

It's a '97 with 45k, looks like it's never been off-road, stock except for the Rick Mayer seats, Ohlin's rear and dual aftermarket horns that will wake the dead. Appears to have led a sheltered life - stack of maintenance records from po's who loved to spend money at dealers. I think I'm going to like it. It's every bit the big pig I expected it to be, but it cruises like the RT . . . except for all that wind, and lack of 6th gear. I've got 2-3 weeks to get it farkled up enough to head west.

Nice looking GS, Dean.

Wind. Yeah. Paint shaker. Told SCS last year in NS that a new wind screen was going on mine before it went on another trip. Not sure the Ztechnik (tall) I have is the answer but it's an improvement. Another inmate likes the Vario.

You might consider the 'hard parts' for the foot pegs. Dunno how necessary they are but some have horror stories.

That's gonna make a great ride for you out west.

I'll probably live with the stock wind screen - I'm used to riding DR's.

"Hard Parts" (front also) shipped yesterday, along with crashbars and an oil cooler guard. Also planning to add a headlight protector, some real hand guards, throttle lock, top box, some bigger panniers, and some DS tires. Won't get that all done before I leave, but that's ok. Working on a complete 12k service at the moment - I think the bike was good to go, but I like to make sure - good to get to know the bike too.

Filled the bed of my truck with maple today. Camp wood.

Cut and split half a cord or so. Thinking the axe needs to get the axe.

T's gym, open for business, free memberships!

No?

Ok, who knows splitters? What's a kick ass splitter that doesn't cost the same as a 250 dirt bike?
