That really is a nice looking ride.
HUGE mistake.
12-14hp increase with it.
MANY frowns without it.

did you get the 685 kit?

another note for KLR stuff.... the plastic fitting which holds the choke cable on the carb is easily broken and I got an alumnium one which makes carb removal much less worrisome.
I think I got it from Arrowhead Sports or one of those places

No 685 yet. I still have a lot to do that the previous owner never did. I am putting an oversized front rotor on it with braided lines as well as rebuilding the rear. I am toying with the idea of getting a new rear shock, but it may not be in the budget.

The seals went on on my shock so I had this place rebuild it with a new spring one size larger than stock...

just a new spring works fine for me. I previously had preload on 2 or 3 now it is on 1 for usual daily riding with plenty more if loaded for camping. Put progressive springs in front and this setup works fine for me, I'm not the most aggressive rider so these simple changes are all I need..

That's a great alternative! Thanks for the info. I am going to go that route for sure.

Wasn't expecting that . . . that Ducati is a beautiful machine. Good luck with the sale. What's next?

Riding season too short .... I have thought about moving for that very reason. Only problem is I HATE hot.

Sorry about the sale, should move fast.

It is a beautiful machine, but, going back to Italy for most of the summer, I can enjoy it only during the fall. For right now I will keep the Suzuki, but I may get something else n Atlanta, where my parents in law live. Even if I am sure that I will miss my sexy Italian mistress...
