Was sticking around until my daughter went back to school. She left yesterday - driving back to FL. I would have left today if not for bad weather in the south. Looks like a Saturday departure at this point.

Thoughts. The are in order 1-4 and the 1-4 again from a different angle. Motor has 28K and the valves were all way tight.

about what? stop looking inside your engine, Rich.

No plans to do any top end work, just curious, as always.

Should be here Sat. I want to clean up the mounting hardware first. All rusty. That slows you down in the corners ya know.

Couple of those valves look like they got hot, which "real tight" can cause, should be fine after adjustment. Lets see the phots when its back together.

Thank you! I thought as much, too tight means not closing all the way. Bike only gets run at the track, about 400 miles a year. Maybe next year I'll look at rebuilding the heads.

I was gonna suggest you cut your premix ratio down, maybe to 50:1.

Rotor that Tinman left in the Garage...Just couldn't throw out a 60,000 mile DR 650 rotor.
