Think I'm done bitching about having to go run the snowblower. Thank you.

Oh, and pretty sure the groundhog was saying, "Hey, mister, mind if I take a look inside there? Looks like a neat little hole I can crawl up inside of...what's that noise it's making...?" Feel free to oblige him.

No. Not really. I love that fuzzy little groundhog!

On a more serious note, please inform the rest of the family about NEVER - even when it's off - put your hands in or near that thing. I had a neighbor...she thought she'd be ok if it was off...she wasn't. It sucked. 3 fingers. Gone.

New rider/member

Hey all. New member. 24 years riding, new to the adventure riding community. Looking for a trip partner for some time this fall to either mid or northern Maine. Rather than fill up this thread with a bunch of useless and confusing information, anyone interested, I can have a conversation with. Thanks all.

Trial by fire.
Might as well see the real thing. Then he can decide: or

I remember following BKMLWR on my first event... "Hey we are riding some dirt roads meet us here."
"Hey, lets go down here, the road turns to shit but it should be fun."

Just read the info on WHACO. Is this mostly a on road ride, or a little of both? Sounds like a great way to camp, hang, and get to know folks.

There are no organized rides at the event.
So come meet some folks and see if you can hook up with someone (or a group) doing the type of riding you want to do.

Don't forget about the "my first event" rule where you have to bring all the beer for the group.

not really
