Anyone want to Ride a Tiger to WI?

I'm trying to work out some logistical/timing issues for my ride out to my brothers in October.

My friend with the Green Tiger would like to join my brother and I but does not have a huge amount of time to fully participate.

One option that I thought of was that if one of you would like to ride her bike out so that it's waiting for her, she could fly out meet her bike and do the ride with us and bring it back. I will probably head out at the beginning of October to help him around his place before the "Adventure" starts and you COULD ride out with me but it is also possible that you could do a solo ride nearly any time before the middle of October.

She would almost certainly fly you back to PWM or whatever the closest airport might be (within reason), if you were not in the Portland area. (OR BUS if you don't fly?)

To be clear, we are just exploring options at this point, but I wanted to put some feelers out.

Any interest?

Alternatively, anyone got a rig that they would rent me (reasonably. Uhaul and Penske want more than a grand for a one-way rental). I would drive your rig out there and park it till it was time to come back.

I'm open to other ideas.

Not like you don't have room to store her in the winter.

Store it? That would be the nice bike with the nice fairing to ride in the winter.

If I had time, I certainly would. Got a groove in the road between here and there that I know well.

Good idea!

Congrats!

Off the top of my head:

1. Tie the exhaust to a boat where it belongs, replace.
2. bash plate for the front pipe.
3. heated grips (maybe move to #1)
4. outlet for heated gear ( probably #2)
5. luggage
6. taller windscreen
7. GPS thinger
8. better grips
9. new shock
10. better forks.
11. Seat!
12. New bars, maybe.

I'm sure the list goes on.

Lol. Already ordered list:

Sw motech skidplate
Sw motech crashbars
Madstad mount (could have used that today to increase airflow)
Barkbuster storm handguards
Rear spools for ease

Then i will start electrical projects
I may forgo heated grips as my hands are usually hot
Heated gear is probably a pass as well. Im used to skiing and snowmobiling

The area im torn on and would love input is top and side case mounts and bag preferences. I know everyone has their specific needs and wants. Im gonna start with a tankbag and work my way back
