They have somewhat undesirable characteristics that BKM mentioned above but not a terrible commuter tire and certainly better than a badly worn, or old tire.

Oooo! Where are you located? I believe it is a 17" rear. I would gladly take them.

Always liked 606s myself. TKCs didn't last for me. YMMV.

Hey guys, this is my first post here. I'm in Bangor and just bought a 2004 GS 1150. I had a 2009 KLR for the last 5 years and then bought an FJR which I just sold this week.

I want the bike pictured above. What is it? It's sexy enough to prompt my first post.

By the way I liked the Dunlop D606 tires on my KLR.

Howdy

Hey guys this is my first post here. I had a KLR for the last 5 years, got an FJR last July and sold it for a 2004 GS1150.
I'm in Bangor.

What I need to know is what is this bike!?

By the way I always liked D606's on my KLR.

I'm lead to believe it is an SR400 with a 'few' mods done to it.

ummm it's a float bowl dude! I surely don't want to pretend to be all mechanic-y and stuff, but I got that part down...

and I wonder the value of rolling the INSIDE of your carb in dirt

Agree. If someone is attempting to recreate "patina" on a carb's float bowl, his efforts are clearly aimed in the wrong direction.
