She is ditching the red graphics in favor of some simpler black and silver ones.

The street sign yellow is staying

Seemed to be just vacuum lines on the carbs and maybe something stuck in one. When it first fired up it still only ran on 1 cyl then we let it cool and checked the plugs and such. fired it back up and now it runs on both cyl.

needs a gremlin bell

I will try to stop out either Friday or this weekend to check progress.

I have my Bandit tore down for service so I may need pointers

I'd like to introduce myself...

I've been lurking for a while, and decided it's time to join up! My name is Nick, and I'm from L-Town.
I'm looking forward to taking part in the tag thread .

Well I finally did it. Traded my cruiser in for a KLR. I was hoping to get a new DL1000 but with the lousy economy I decided a KLR would be perfect for now.

Plus I still have my Bandit for when I need to Blast around or take the wifey along

Here she is lightly used 2007 KLR650 with 3400 miles and no mods. Except for the tank bag I attached as a tail bag. Gotta be thrifty to own a KLR

Hi all. Vstrom rider from Bangor. I've been lurking around and thought I'd say hello. I'm really liking the maine tag-o-rama thread. I'm gonna get one this summer!

Hi

What color is your Vstrom?

It's 38 degrees at my house. If my bikes weren't snowed in....

I may have seen you around Bangor. I've noticed a few Vstroms, both blue and black in my travels. I work in Bangor and ride my Suzuki in from West Enfield daily.

Am going to dig out the shed and see if the KLX will start

The cold blooded KLX wouldn't start. Maybe in another couple of weeks if it warms up. Next year I'm going to park it in a heated garage, get some studded tires for the beast and have some fun on the ice.

16 inches of snow precdicted for tonight.
