how close can you get with a pickup or jeep? thinking about taking wife in if possible....also the atlas shows several other campsites on that lake which would be boat accessed...

About two hundred yards from the site there is a spot you could park a truck or jeep and walk in...just far enough to keep the lazy car campers away...

You guys should check out the Appalachian TOR in the southeastern

section, it's in your area.

And if anyone is heading south, bring it with you.

Alaska Leather

Have been debating either getting a beaded seat cover or a sheepskin.
Decided to try out the sheepskin as I figured the beads might be uncomfortable as I don't have much padding in that area

Gave Alaska Leather a call. They seem like great people and very helpful. Says on their site that everyone rides.

The person I spoke with told me to put deadsheep in the coupon box for 10% off. She checked to make sure they had the size I wanted in stock.

All in all a pleasant experience.

She said that I may even get it by this Saturday

Just ordered a pad for myself. I was planning to get one in the next few weeks, so that's every convenient.

I swear by AK Leather. They ship extremely fast. It would get to me by Saturday. Maybe a little more to you.

Got the sasquatch rebuilt rear suspension mounted in the strom tonight. What a difference! Feels great so far, I will run it in more tomorrow on the way to work. Now the wife and I can head to Vermont for the long weekend. We are still working on a sitter for the dog, but I have my fingers crossed.

Tslapper stopped by the house and dropped something off for me tonight as well. Big thanks Tom. Now I have a reason to hurry up and get the blast finished.
