Pic size problems
Hey all...
I'm trying to put up some pics on the Mattawamkeag Campout thread from Photobucket. I can't seem to get the pics small enough to fit on the screen. I've tried resizing on Photobucket, but when I link the pic to the forum, it is still huge. Any advice?

I use my resident imaging program, (the one on my computer), to resize my pics before I upload. MGI Photosuite is what I use. I resize to 600x800, then save it to my ADV file for photos, which lives in "My Pictures" folder. From there I use Image Shack, a free program for uploading and sharing photos. I browse the photo I want to upload, then click upload now, and when it's done a drop down with different use codes comes up, and I choose "Forum Code". I highlight it, then press control C to copy, and then open up the campout thread dialog box, put the cursor where you want the pic to show up, and press control V to paste, and voila, it should be in there. I think the key is to resize, then save to your computer, then upload. If you wish to save your large photos for future use in that resolution, create a folder, like I did, for your resized images. Good luck and Ride Safe! ![]() Here's one I just uploaded............. ![]() You can also right click on a photo and go to properties to see what other folks are using for their photos.
