F650GS/F800GS fuel sensor recall in the UK

See this:

Hopefully, this really fixes the cut-out issue people have been complaining. I wonder if our builds are "fixed" already or not.

What are the VIN numbers of the 162 vehicles involved?

Friends F800 has stopped on the side of the road a couple of times. The fuel gage says it’s got fuel even though the tank is empty.

Is this sensor related to his problem?

On my last fillup before my first service the tank didn't show full on the gauge. Had the shop check it and they found a fault with the fuel sensor. They have the part, I just need to get back there to have it installed. I'm just watching the trip meter for a fuel gauge...just like I did on my KLR.
