Thanks for all your help on this site. I did the Can removeal and the first oil change.
Note: the large hose going from the canister to the throttle body works great for draining the oil from your oil tank. Cheers

Hi guys, I have pimped my X moto, (I did'nt like the stock face, color ect...)
So I painted it in white. Put headlight from a G450X but not the original that you can find at a BMW shop... The part is from Speedbrain.de (It is all white Here's a link and a pic'. http://www.speedbrain.de/index.php?a=653 ![]() Nota : The front fender (the nose) and the lamp comes from a BMW shop. ![]() Then I removed the original speedo meter because it was too fat and the headlight was too far from my fork, there was a big hole between my fork and the speedo, it wasn't nice.... So I put a speedo from a KTM 525 exc (2006 precisly) it is smaller and I have many trips, total odometer, speed, do we really need something more ? ![]() ![]() I had to make a part to hang on the speedo sensor, I pasted the magnet in the hole of the front disc, with 2 compound Würth Glue .The next mods I want to make are : Audi 225hp injector, forced air induction, Leovince slip-on (already ordered it, I'm waiting for Here's some pics of my bike, I hope you'll enjoy. ![]() If my english is not fine please correct me I want to progress. Thank you. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very nice look you made there Thor.
With the KTM dash, did you include the warning lights for the blinkers/high beam etc? What lights do you have for the efi system? Was there any problem in connecting up the dash?

xchallenge bodywork
After doing some plastics swap outs, I think I got everything necessary to do the xchallenge plastics excepting the instrument cluster bracket. Outside of the instrument panel, it was a piece of cake!
Does anyone know, is it necessary to switch this out so that the xchallenge headlight housing will mount up correctly or has anyone come up with a homemade remedy they would like to share? Some perfect looking xchallenge aesthetics, Solace! |
