so this was on the chain gang in the tech faq's, but probably would break the low cost mark of switching in the yamaha parts, but has anyone considered having emig make them a set of triples?

I think we all have. I can't recall what the issue was, but it wasn't feasible.

The issue, IIRC, was that the cost was somewhere north of 500 bucks for a damn triple.

Yammie forks?

Anyone do this mod on a KLR? I have a complete front end from a WRf ready to transplant on my '05 KLR... Probably going to tear into it tomorrow. I'm thinking of have a custom stem made up that will fit the KLR bearings and Yamaha clamps...

Any ideas/thought?
