Laugh wilbers compressed reservoir

Hi all,
I just got my new shock ready to install and the hose connections for the remote reservoir were in position so that I couldn't install it without the hose being to close to the chain. I read on a less reliable forum that, if you were careful, you could loosen the fittings and move them to a better position.
I tried this and received a small spray of oil from the fitting.
I assume I have released the nitrogen pressure from the reservoir and will need it refilled?

Also what are the Chances, if any, that I have damaged the shock?

I don't think you would have damaged I doing that but it sounds like you may want to get it recharged with nitrogen.

I hope this isn't against the rules, but I'm looking for a stock Dakar fork if someone has one to get rid of.

I am posting this hoping no one jumps on it before me. I was hoping someone would take a look at this. Looks like everything I need. I even think I see the caliper co version bracket. What about the damage to the bottom of the forks?

What do you guys think?

center stand options

hey guys.
I just finished installing the TT WP kit on my 01 gs (not dakar) and boy does it feel good.
Of course, the center stand i had is just useless now but i'm wondering if anyone was able to modify one of use a dakar one with success. Seems to me that in order to work the two legs would need to go way out towards the rear swing arm. From staking 2x6 under the stand, it seems like i would need 3inch extensions...

Id get rid of it but i live in the city and roadside maintenance if a reality most of the time, our bike lift is a one hour ride from my flat, which is just a tad long to oil my chain.

any help greatly appreciated !

Nomad, what exhaust are you running? Love the look of the matte black paint!
Enjoy Baja

Great looking bike. Kind of like Ducati Monster meets BMW

Tess, its a Supertrapp that the PO put on. It's a bit loud, ESP when firing up in your townhome community but it w/a drop in gearing really add to the torque/pickup. I may play w/another exhaust just because I can't swap my wolfman racks from bike to bike ( pipes wider).
