At about 12:30 this morning the local police became interested with my motorcycle, it was illegally parked. My son in law noticed the police and had a conversation with them that saved me a ticket.

California Vehicle Code section 22503 governs parallel parking for cars and motorcycles. The portions of the statute dealing with motorcycle parking are quoted below. In short, the law states that a motorcycle must be parked with one wheel touching the right-hand curb, or, on a one-way street, one wheel must be touching either curb.

CVC 22502
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, . . . a motorcycle shall be parked with at least one wheel or fender touching the right-hand curb . . .
(e) (1) Upon a one-way roadway, . . . a motorcycle, if parked on the left-hand side, shall have either one wheel or one fender touching the curb . . .
(2) This subdivision does not apply upon a roadway of a divided highway.

Let me know when you're coming up

Otherwise we'll be there Biketoberfest for sure

I tried going up once a month and it lasted about three months

Really need to get rid of it and put the money to use in Weeki Wachee

Just a little, another day riding with the guys.

Heading out to camp for a few days at Big Sur.

I haven't used Smugmug much in a while but it really has had some useful tools added to it, definitely a fine service. Give it a try.

I did a 4 mile race on Saturday, got 4th. There were almost 100 entries including, kayaks, canoes and SUPs. We all started at once. This is me in the plaid shorts at the start.

This was the finish
