It's a Dutch edition, sorry for that. The text is hilarious.

  • Sympathy for the Devil ( what is the nature of your game? )
  • Wild, Wild Horses

if you are not in love by seconds :16 you need a long talk with the coach.

watch this until seconds :22. and beyond if it suits you, but come back and read the rest of this...

  • got married
  • had a baby ( they did it in that order back then )
  • came home from the hospital. dumped Junior on Daddy. split for London ( Split: old coot slang for left, departed, ran off... )
  • Spent Quality Time with two members of every rock and roll band in London, from the bottom to the top. This way those two were jealous of each other and the rest of the band were jealous of the two who spent Quality Time with her magnificent self. hence the references to "your game" cited above.
  • stopped when she got to Mick Jagger
  • did a nose first swan dive into the Stones stash
  • got pitched out and spent ten years on the streets of London
proving once again that

Is that a reflector in the front spokes? What happened to her (and the girl too)?

Over across the pond, they have tax stamps that must be displayed instead of stickers on the tags like we use in the US. What you see is the tax holder where the "proof of payment" is kept..... got one just like it on my old Norton.

and the Obligatory image for the thread....

Fearless is right. It's the tax disc holder. There aren't many places to bolt them on a Harley. They are supposed to be mounted in front if the rider in the left hand side if the bike but you'll see them in very strange places. Before the system was computerized you'd see all sorts if things in them instead if a tax disc..Newcastle brown bottle labels were popular at one point.

I rode the best part of 20,000 miles on the sportster in 18 months. Loved the thing. First mod was the Jota rear shocks in place of the awful standard units and stiffer front springs. It handled quite well with a stiffer setup. The bike eventually ended up in Hungary.

Sue, in the picture, and I went our seperate ways a couple of years later. We're still in touch though.

... and they say nostalgia isn't what is used to be, 'cos I certainly generated one or two spare "tax disks" for mates back then ...
