Last time I got pulled over by The Man, I was riding a Ducati SS750ie (a road legal one, for once) and wearing race leathers- nowhere in that combination to stow the requisite cute puppy, and I was sooo busted!

Your problem was you continued to wear it. "Officer, it's kind of hot with these leathers on, do you mind if I open them, or pull them down a little?"

Unless you got the cop from the "Village People", that probably would have helped.
